Meet Katelyn
Hi! I'm Katelyn Madden, the owner and founder of Peonies & Pearls Weddings! I fell in love with the wedding industry when I became obsessed with the TV show Say Yes to the Dress! This love was solidified after I began working in the wedding industry when I was 18 with my very first wedding. I have been working in the wedding industry since 2015 and I started my company out of my college apartment in 2018. God has blessed me with many amazing couples, friendships, and beautiful memories throughout this adventure! I strive to be that helpful, dedicated go-to person for couples to turn to, so they can truly enjoy one of the most important days of their lives with a total peace of mind!
Wedding planning may seem like a stressful and daunting process, but I am here to make it a fun and exciting time in your life. I love getting to talk to each of my brides throughout planning and meeting up with them for coffee. Let's become friends and start planning your special day together!
A few fun facts about me: I love anything that sparkles or glitters and I will never say no to coffee. I am a huge Taylor Swift fan and I have a sweet kitty named Oreo! My husband, John, and I got married during the pandemic on April 26th, 2020 and I had to plan our mini wedding in 19 days! My favorite flowers are Sarah Peonies (obviously) and I have also fallen in love with working with flowers!

What's in a name?
Peonies are a beautiful flower that happens to be my favorite flower! I have been constantly inspired by its beautiful blooms in spring and how they are bold but delicate. Pearls are such an iconic symbol for weddings. They are timeless, versatile, and gorgeous as any bride can feel like a queen while wearing them. I love these two ideas coming together to represent my company; bold, beautiful, timeless, and versatile.

As a follower of Christ, Jesus is the most important part of my life. He loves me and because of that love I want to be a blessing and serve you in any way that I can as we plan your wedding together. I want to bless anyone who needs my services no matter what they believe. I want to serve anyone who needs help with planning their wedding.
